pretty sour with die-hard hip hop fans in NY. This distaste
is encouraging emcees from New York to go even harder for the
next edition. Hopefully next year we see a couple of artists
from New York gracing the cover.

Bobby Valentino No Credit
When you think about Bobby Valentino what do you think about?
First his affiliation with Ludacris and some of his popular songs.
In my view Bobby is one of top singers in the game. Not voice
wise but his song making ability. His second album to me
"Special Occasion" is a personal classic. The irony is
he was dropped from Ludacris' label moths after the album
was released. The machine blasted off like two singles
then they thrashed the album. The album had a lot of other
singles that could be pushed until it reached platinum status.
"Special Occasion" is a very slept on album. Anyone
that I've put on to the album usually scratched their
heads in awe like how I could I miss this. Smh. Truth
is I missed it also until my Co-worker put me on to his
albums and songs that didn't make it to the radio.
Here are two songs from that album that would have
gathered more interest in Bobby if introduced to the public.

2nd leak off of R3mix's "Life In The Frasslane". "Lighters"
sounds like an old school smooth joint (pause). I have been
waiting for this song to drop since I saw the preview.
