Wordspit Live At RocNation
Backed by a nicely lit New York City Skyline inside the ROC Nation, Rocawear and
Artful Dodger offices, some of the industry's elite enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
CThaGod from Power 105's The Breakfast Club introduces Wordspit The iLLest. As
DJ D-Nice scratched his way into Mobb Deep's 'Burn', the crowd swayed in unison
throughout the Rocawear show room. Wordspit, accompanied by violinist Jordan Ware,
began his freestyle over the classic instrumental and made it his own. The motive behind
the meeting on June 15th, was to re image Rocawear through an electric array of music
from emerging up and coming talent. Special guests in attendance for the night included:
DJ D-Nice, CThaGod from Power 105, Joell Ortiz, Lowkey,Torae, Mickey Factz,
Skyzoo, amongst many socialites and taste makers. With new shows and videos
aligned for the future, Wordspit is also working on expanding his music catalog.
There is a mixtape in the works that will be hosted by DJ Laser, as well as a follow-up
album to his already classic and fan-favorite 'The coolest BBOI-Stance'. No release date
has been given at this time, but by the looks of it, he's more than ready to deliver.
I hope this finds a space on your site.
