Jack Spa77ow isn't your everyday rapper. At first glance from his pictures, you might
think he is a UFC fighter or a wrestler's sidekick. On his new EP Rise: In Music We Trust,
Jack Spa77ow brings along Dj Absolut as a host for the EP.
Rise: Of In Music We Trust shows Jack isn't afraid to make the type of music
that he likes. And he likes club banging anthems. (While reviewing this, I cooked it down to a couple joints. I love the Lil B cooking dance because it can be applied to everything. I have been caught cooking it down to Tamia's "Stranger In My House")
Down For Me is a different side of Jack, directly catering to the ladies making a bunch of promises like "I won't make you suffer from the things that my ex did." Svedka Sprite follows, with Jack expressing his love for the mixed beverage. The stand out collaboration on the ep "Loveshoots" features fellow acts from NYC Mic Blaque, Eric Sosa, and Young Boogs. (I don't know why but I want to roll around in dark shades and destroy parked cars with a bat to that joint.) Then we have "Bed Bandit," which I'm not too fond of, because the drums sound like the same drums from Jay-Z's "On To The Next One." Hearing this joint only makes me think of Jay-z's joint and how its my jam.
Rise:In Music We Trust is a good listen, once you let it grow on you and you get used to Jack's antics on tracks. What's next for Jack Spa77ow? Only time and his mind will dictate.
